Stay for Niagara after dark

A different atmosphere once the sun goes down.

01 · PLAN YOUR VISIT

Check the light schedule for your date

Illumination times vary through the year, so use the published schedule when planning your evening. Decide whether you want daylight views, sunset photographs or the illuminated Falls; these may require different arrival times. The After Dark package includes 2.5 hours, so choose a start that matches your priorities.

02 · PLAN YOUR VISIT

Keep fireworks as a bonus

Fireworks are separate from illumination and take place only on scheduled dates, subject to conditions. A tour booking does not guarantee a display. If fireworks are the main reason for your visit, check the official event information before choosing your date.

03 · PLAN YOUR VISIT

Choose a manageable evening route

Combine a Falls viewpoint stop with time around Clifton Hill or another agreed nearby stop. Avoid filling a short evening with multiple timed admissions. If you want a restaurant meal as well, eat before the tour or discuss how it will fit within the booked hours.

04 · PLAN YOUR VISIT

Prepare for photographs and cooler air

Bring a charged phone, a lens cloth and a warm layer. Mist can affect camera lenses and walking surfaces. Allow yourself time to stop safely for photographs rather than photographing while walking. Keep paths clear and respect barriers and other visitors.

05 · PLAN YOUR VISIT

Arrange the ride back in advance

Confirm your return destination before the evening starts. Local hotel return and longer-distance transfers are different arrangements; check your package and selected drop-off. If you are relying on public transport, work backwards from the last suitable departure and leave a buffer.

These are suggested planning ideas. Verify current hours, admission requirements and transport schedules before booking.
